Custom welded structures
We manufacture welded structures in a single plant in Lodz, from cutting to 3D inspection. We weld manually and on FANUC robots, from one-off parts to series, including machine structure components as well as new railway vehicle assemblies and parts.
The welding certificates were issued by TÜV Rheinland Polska, and ISO 9001 by LL-C (Certification). Click a document to open the PDF; certificate numbers are listed in the certificate table.

Welding certificates: rail and machine structures
The EN 15085-2 certificate (classification level CL 2, activity P, manufacturing) covers new assemblies and parts for railway vehicles. When an order requires other processes, materials or thicknesses, we extend the scope per order with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQR). The EN ISO 3834-2 certificate confirms welding by methods 135 (MAG) and 141 (TIG) in the production of machine structure components as well as railway vehicles and their parts. See railway welding to EN 15085-2.

TÜV Rheinland Polska certificates can be verified with the issuing body, and EN 15085-2 also in the ECWRV register (en15085.joincert.eu). ISO 9001 can be checked via LL-C (ll-c.net/verification) using code 1DE0AD39-BA4. All documents, including ISO 14001: ECAD certificates.
Manual welding on CUBE tables and robotic welding on FANUC units
We weld manually across three bays equipped with in-house designed CUBE welding tables (separate brand CUBEWELD, modular welding table system at cubeweld.pl). We weld stainless steel and aluminium in a dedicated bay. We also weld on two FANUC welding robots. Whether your part is welded robotically or manually is determined at the quote stage. We use Kemppi power sources, and for thin sheet metal and welds that are to remain visible without grinding, we also use a laser: see laser welding.
Pre-welding: cutting and bending of parts
We cut sheet metal with an HSG G3015H V2 fibre laser, by waterjet on a PTV machine or with oxy-plasma on a STIGAL cutter, and bend it on a Trumpf TruBend 7050 press brake. We bend tubes and profiles on a VLB EB53CNC-RH CNC mandrel tube bender. See laser cutting, sheet metal bending and tube and profile bending.
Post-welding: annealing, machining and 3D inspection
The finished structure can undergo stress-relief annealing in a furnace with a 1000 × 1200 × 800 mm chamber, be finished by CNC milling or surface grinding, and have its dimensions checked with a Scantech 3D scanner and a Mitutoyo height gauge. Whether the structure fits in the furnace and on the machine is verified at the quote stage.
No assembly drawing? Our design office will prepare it
Our design office will prepare the 3D model and documentation for the welded structure. For example: a welding fixture with clamps, an assembly drawing with item numbers. In the same way, we design and build steel stairs and platforms, most often machine access platforms.

Stainless steel and aluminium at a separate workstation
We manufacture welded structures from structural steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other metals to order. We weld stainless steel and aluminium at a separate workstation.
Our EN ISO 3834-2 certificate covers material groups 1.1, 1.2 and 8.1 according to ISO/TR 15608, which includes austenitic stainless steels with Cr ≤ 19%. Aluminium is not within the current scope of our certificates, but we do weld it. When an order requires a certified welding procedure, we extend our scope with new WPS and WPQR.
Specify the material and grade in your enquiry; we will confirm them when preparing the quote. See stainless steel and aluminium welding.
What to send for a welded structure quote
We quote welded structures on the basis of an assembly drawing or 3D model, not from a price list. See also: what determines the price of cutting and bending.
The order price depends on:
- material and its grade
- number of components and welds
- dimensions of the structure (for annealing: whether it fits in the 1000 × 1200 × 800 mm furnace chamber)
- cutting and bending of components prior to welding
- weld and welding documentation requirements
- quantity
- lead time

Questions about welded structures
What are welded structures?
A welded structure is an assembly of sheet metal, tube and profile components joined by welds into a single unit, such as a steel machine frame. We manufacture such structures at a single plant at Elektronowa 6 in Lodz, from cutting through to 3D inspection.
What is the minimum order quantity for a welded structure?
From a single piece to series production.
What materials do you weld structures from?
From structural steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other metals to order. Specify the material and grade in your enquiry; we will confirm them when preparing the quote. See stainless steel and aluminium welding.
Can you manufacture a welded structure for the rail industry?
Yes. We hold an EN 15085-2 certificate, certification level CL 2, activity type P: production of new welded assemblies and parts for rail vehicles. See welding for the rail industry according to EN 15085-2.
How large can a structure be for stress-relief annealing?
Our stress-relief annealing furnace chamber measures 1000 × 1200 × 800 mm. We will check whether your structure fits when preparing the quote.
How much does it cost to manufacture a welded structure?
We do not have a price list. We prepare quotes on the basis of an assembly drawing or 3D model; the price depends on the material, number of components and welds, dimensions, quantity and lead time.
