One plant, one order: cutting, bending, machining, welding and inspection

ECAD is a metal products manufacturer: we carry out metal parts production at ul. Elektronowa 6 in Lodz. Under one roof, we cut sheet metal, bend sheet metal, tubes and profiles, machine them, weld them and perform stress-relief annealing, while the model and documentation are prepared by our design office. From a single piece to series

As a metal parts manufacturer, we accept orders from a single piece up to series production.

Materials

We manufacture metal products from structural steel, stainless steel and aluminium, and we also cut plastics and stone on our PTV waterjet cutter. We will confirm whether we can make your part from the selected material when preparing the quote.

Metal parts production step by step: from concept to finished part

We perform these stages in a single plant. We turn a drawing or 3D model into a finished part.

  1. Cutting

We cut sheet metal with an HSG G3015H V2 fibre laser (12 kW) and by plasma and oxy-fuel on a STIGAL cutter, and with water on a PTV waterjet cutter: metals, plastics and stone. Laser cutting of tubes and profiles on a Bodor SK2 with a 3D head is planned for December 2026.

  2. Bending

We bend sheet metal on a Trumpf TruBend 7050 press brake, and tubes and profiles on a VLB EB53CNC-RH CNC mandrel tube bender.

  3. CNC machining and welding

We mill on DN Solutions and Mazak machining centres, including 5-axis machining, turn on Mazak lathes with driven tools, perform wire EDM on a Mitsubishi FA20 and surface grind on an Okamoto. We weld manually and on two FANUC robots. We also weld for the rail industry: we hold an EN 15085-2 certificate (CL 2, activity P) and expand our scope per order with new WPS and WPQR.

  4. Annealing and 3D inspection

We stress-relieve parts in an annealing furnace (chamber 1000 × 1200 × 800 mm), and we can verify dimensions with a Scantech NimbleTrack-C Gen2 3D scanner, a granite surface plate and a Mitutoyo height gauge.

What to send for a metal parts production quote

We quote full-service metal production based on a 3D model or drawing, not a price list. State in your enquiry which stages the order covers: cutting, bending, CNC machining or welding. We will quote them together.

Don’t have a drawing? We can scan the part with a 3D scanner at our plant or at your site, and our design office will build the model. See reverse engineering and 3D scanning.

The order price will depend on:

  • material and thickness or dimensions
  • scope of operations (cutting, bending, CNC, welding)
  • number of components to be joined
  • quantity
  • lead time

Questions about metal parts production

What is full-service metal production “from concept to completion”?

It means manufacturing the entire part in a single plant: from cutting and bending, through CNC machining and welding, to stress-relief annealing and 3D inspection. Our design office prepares the model and documentation, giving you a single point of contact instead of several subcontractors.

Can you produce a complete part in one order, from cutting to welding and inspection?

Yes. We perform cutting, bending, CNC machining, welding, annealing and 3D inspection in one plant at ul. Elektronowa 6 in Lodz. When preparing the quote, we will verify which stages your order requires.

How much does full-service metal production cost?

We do not have a price list; we quote based on a 3D model or drawing. The price depends on the material and thickness or dimensions, scope of operations, number of components to be joined, quantity and lead time. See what determines the price.

How do I place an order for metal products?

Send your drawing or 3D model via the quote form and specify which stages you require: cutting, bending, CNC machining, welding. We will review your enquiry and reply with any questions and a quote. We accept orders starting from a single piece.

What is your minimum order quantity?

From a single piece to series production.

What materials do you process?

Structural steel, stainless steel and aluminium, as well as plastics and stone on our PTV waterjet cutter. We will confirm whether we can make your part from the selected material when preparing the quote.

What is the lead time for an order involving several operations?

It depends on the number of operations, part complexity and current plant workload. We set the lead time for each specific order. Let us know in your enquiry when you need the parts.

What file formats do you accept for a quote?

We accept PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES, photos (JPG, PNG, TIFF) and ZIP and 7Z archives. If your order involves multiple stages, please describe them in your message.
