ECAD: metalworking plant at ul. Elektronowa 6 in Lodz, operating since 2008, 25 staff. We cut, bend, CNC machine and weld; we reverse-engineer parts, and design and build machines.

We work for the rail industry as well as food, tobacco, home appliance and pharmaceutical plants in Poland and the European Union. We hold certificates EN 15085-2, EN ISO 3834-2, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

What we do

We manufacture metal structures from one-offs to series production. See full-service production and our full range of services.

  • Cutting and bending

    We cut with a fibre laser (12 kW), waterjet — metals, plastics and stone — and oxy-fuel/plasma. We bend sheet metal on a press brake and tubes and profiles on a CNC mandrel tube bender. We prepare laser cutting programmes in SigmaNEST and bending programmes in SigmaBEND. We are already accepting enquiries for laser cutting of tubes and profiles, including 3D — the Bodor SK2 laser installation is planned for December 2026.

  • CNC machining and welding

    We offer milling (including 5-axis), turning with live tooling, wire EDM and surface grinding. We weld manually using Kemppi welders and on two FANUC robots; stainless steel and aluminium are welded at a dedicated station. We also weld for the rail industry — we hold the EN 15085-2 certificate (CL 2, activity P). We also laser weld thin sheet metal and visible seams that require no grinding (laser welding: max. seam 1.5–2 mm, single-wire or double-wire; not covered by certificates). We perform stress-relief annealing.

  • Engineering and maintenance services

    Our design office works in Siemens NX and Solid Edge; reverse engineering and 3D scanning recreate parts without drawings, and 3D inspection verifies dimensions. We design and build custom machines. We provide maintenance services; for companies with a service agreement, we also offer support outside normal working hours.

  1. 2008

    ECAD starts operations in Lodz — metalworking, machine design and machine building.

  2. 2022

    25.02.2022: initial ISO 9001:2015 certification. 25.10.2022: conversion of the civil-law partnership into ECAD A. Wojtczak, R. Zarębski sp.k. (KRS 0001005609).

  3. c. 2024

    Production plant and customer service at ul. Elektronowa 6 in Lodz. 25.09.2024: first ISO 14001:2015 certificate.

  4. 2025

    25.08.2025: EN 15085-2 certificate (level CL 2, activity P). 25.09.2025: EN ISO 3834-2.

  5. December 2026 (planned)

    Installation of the Bodor SK2 tube and profile laser planned for December 2026 (we are already accepting enquiries for laser cutting of tubes and profiles, including 3D).

The plant is located at ul. Elektronowa 6 in Lodz, where we have operated since around 2024. We work Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00; the plant is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Production at the ul. Elektronowa 6 plant is covered by EN 15085-2, EN ISO 3834-2 and ISO 9001:2015 certificates.
