Robotic welding
in Lodz
At ECAD, we perform robotic welding in Lodz on two FANUC welding robots. We prepare quotes based on a drawing or 3D model.
Whether we weld your part with a robot or manually is determined at the quoting stage. We also hold the EN ISO 3834-2 certificate: the scope is described on the ECAD certificates page.
Robotic welding on two FANUC robots
In our welding shop at ul. Elektronowa 6 in Lodz, we have two FANUC welding robots.

Repeatable parts and batches
Robotic welding works well for parts welded repeatedly in the same shape: the programmed welding path is repeated for every subsequent piece.
Manual workstations alongside the robots
Alongside the robots, there are three manual workstations with our own CUBE tables (separate brand CUBEWELD, welding table configurator at cubeweld.pl) and a dedicated workstation for stainless steel and aluminium. See stainless steel and aluminium welding.
From a single piece to series production
Across the entire plant, we accept orders ranging from a single piece to series production.
Welding in the production chain
We prepare components for welding at the same plant, and the finished assembly can undergo stress-relief annealing and inspection with a 3D scanner within a single order.
Cutting and bending
We prepare sheet metal flat patterns by laser cutting and bending on a press brake, while tubes and profiles are bent on a CNC mandrel tube bender.
Laser cuttingRobotic welding
We weld on two FANUC robots or manually in the same welding shop, depending on the part.
Stress-relief annealing
We can anneal the welded assembly in our own furnace, chamber 1000 × 1200 × 800 mm, to reduce residual stresses.
Stress-relief annealing3D inspection
We can check the dimensions of the finished assembly using a 3D scanner and a height gauge.
3D quality inspection
What to send for a robotic welding quote
We quote robotic welding based on a drawing or 3D model, not from a price list. Send the part documentation, material and quantity: for robotic welding, batch size matters for the quote.
Order pricing depends on:
- material and grade
- number and arrangement of welds
- quantity (batch size)
- customer requirements regarding welds and documentation
- cutting and bending of parts prior to welding
- lead time

- Send documentationUp to 10 files, up to 100 MB in total: PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES, photos (JPG, PNG, TIFF), or a ZIP or 7Z archive.
- Describe your orderMaterial, quantity and batch size, weld and documentation requirements, and lead time.
- We will reply with any questionsWe will check whether the part is suitable for robotic welding or if manual welding is a better choice.

Welding shop with FANUC robots: Elektronowa 6 in Lodz
Our FANUC welding robots operate at the ECAD welding shop at ul. Elektronowa 6 in Lodz, open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00. We have been operating since 2008 and employ 25 people.
We hold EN ISO 3834-2, EN 15085-2, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certificates: their scope is detailed on the ECAD certificates page. We can inspect the dimensions of welded assemblies using a Scantech 3D scanner and a Mitutoyo height gauge. See contact and directions and our full range of services.

Questions about robotic welding
What is robotic welding at ECAD?
Robotic welding is a welding process in which a robot guides the torch along a programmed path. ECAD performs it using two FANUC welding robots at our welding shop at ul. Elektronowa 6 in Lodz.
Which parts do you weld with a robot, and when do you weld manually?
A robot is usually cost-effective for repeatable parts and batches: once programmed, the welding path is repeated for every subsequent piece. Alongside the robots, we have three manual stations with CUBE tables. Whether we weld your part by robot or manually is determined during quoting. See also our welding page.
What welding certificates does ECAD hold?
We hold EN ISO 3834-2 and EN 15085-2 (CL 2, activity P) certificates. Scope, reference numbers and files: ECAD certificates.
Do you accept one-off pieces or only batches?
We accept orders ranging from a single piece to batch production.
How much does robotic welding cost?
We do not have a fixed price list: we prepare quotes based on a drawing or 3D model. Pricing depends on the material, number and arrangement of welds, quantity (batch size is key in robotic welding), weld and documentation requirements, cutting and bending of parts prior to welding, and lead time. Send your drawing via the quote form.
What file formats do you accept for a quote?
For quotes, we accept PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES, photos (JPG, PNG, TIFF), and ZIP and 7Z archives: up to 10 files, up to 100 MB in total.
Do you have a part for robotic welding?
Send a drawing or 3D model and let us know the order quantity. We will check whether the part is suitable for a FANUC robot.
