Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar data are stored by the website ecad.com.pl, why we store them, and how to change your decision.

1. Who is responsible for cookies

The entity responsible for cookies stored by ecad.com.pl is ECAD A. Wojtczak, R. Zarębski spółka komandytowa. Its registered office is ul. 3 Maja 64/66, 93-408 Łódź; its production facility and correspondence address is ul. Elektronowa 6, 94-103 Łódź. KRS 0001005609. Email: biuro@ecad.com.pl. Our rules for processing personal data are set out in the privacy policy.

2. What are cookies and similar data

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Browser local storage (localStorage) and the IndexedDB database work in a similar way. We store or read information on your device in accordance with Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024: data necessary for the website to work do not require consent; other data are stored only with your consent.

3. What we store

Until you make a choice in the consent banner and play a video, the website stores no files or data in your browser.

ECAD employees who sign in to the website dashboard also receive WordPress login cookies. These do not apply to ordinary visitors.

When the English version of the website is enabled, an additional cookie may remember your selected language. We will then add it to this table.

4. Visitor analytics and advert effectiveness (with consent)

If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, our processor). This helps us understand which pages are visited and where visitors come from. GA4 then collects, among other things: the URLs of pages visited and the page you came from (for example, a search engine or advert), device type, operating system and browser, approximate location (country and city), visit time and journey, and whether a quotation form was submitted — without the information entered in the form. Data associated with the cookie identifier are _ga stored in GA4 for no more than 14 months; aggregate reports that do not describe individuals may be kept longer. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA under the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (details: privacy policy, section 7). The Google Analytics script does not load without your consent.

Our GA4 analytics are linked to ECAD’s Google Ads account. This lets us check whether Google adverts bring people interested in our services to the website. The banner consent covers visitor analytics, including measuring advert effectiveness, so we always send Google an advertising consent signal of “denied” and disable Google Signals and advert personalisation in the website code. We do not store advertising cookies or use remarketing. Details: privacy policy, section 9.

5. YouTube videos (after clicking)

Some pages, including From the production hall (PL), contain videos from our YouTube channel. Until you click, you see only a thumbnail served from our server. Clicking a video is your consent to load the player from Google’s servers and store the data described in the table. Consent applies only to the video you clicked. Details: privacy policy, section 10. Data stored by the player do not expire automatically and are not removed by the “Cookie settings” button. To remove them, clear website data in your browser settings.

6. How to give, change or withdraw consent

Consent is voluntary; the website works in the same way without it. On your first visit, choose “Accept” or “Reject” in the banner — both buttons have equal prominence. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer or here:

After you withdraw consent, we immediately disable Google Analytics on the open page and remove the files from your browser _ga. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

We record every choice you make in the banner — including refusal and withdrawal — in an anonymous consent register to show what you chose and which text you saw. The register contains no IP address or browser data, and we delete entries after 3 years. The cookie ecad_zgoda_id remains in your browser until it expires and links successive choices to one number. Details: privacy policy, section 9.6.

You can also block and delete cookies and website data in your browser settings. If you also block necessary cookies, the consent banner will appear on every visit.

7. What we do not use

  • advertising cookies, remarketing or advert profiling;
  • social media plugins — the website contains links to our profiles only;
  • external fonts or scripts — we load them from our own server. Exceptions: the Google Analytics script (www.googletagmanager.com), only after you consent to analytics, and the YouTube player after you click a video.

8. Changes to this cookie policy

We update the table when the tools used on the website change. The current version is always available at ecad.com.pl/cookies/.
