Steel stairs and platforms in Lodz

We design and manufacture custom steel stairs and platforms for industry and beyond: from the 3D model and FEA in our design office, through cutting, bending and welding at our plant in Lodz, to on-site installation.

We most often build maintenance and process platforms around machinery. We accept orders from a single unit.

Steel stairs and platforms for industry and beyond

We most frequently build steel machine access structures for manufacturing plants. We also make stairs and platforms for non-industrial sites, always custom-built to our design or your documentation.

Steel machine platforms

Maintenance and process platforms around machinery are our most common projects. We tailor the dimensions and height to the machine and the available space in the production hall.

Industrial and non-industrial stairs

Steel stairs provide access to a platform, a machine operating station or any change in level. We design them to match the required rise and installation site, both inside manufacturing plants and elsewhere.

FEA in our design office

Our design office performs FEA, or finite element analysis. On the 3D model, it shows the stresses and displacements that occur in the structure under a specified load.

From design to on-site installation

This is how an order for stairs or a platform progresses. We handle the design, cutting, bending and welding at our plant at ul. Elektronowa 6. We outsource painting or galvanising to specialist partners, and install the finished structure at your site.

  1. Design

At our plant, ul. Elektronowa 6, Lodz

Our design office prepares the 3D model and shop drawings in Siemens NX or Solid Edge. It also carries out FEA.

  4. Welding

At our plant, ul. Elektronowa 6, Lodz

We weld complete structures manually in our welding shop, and selected smaller components on FANUC robots.

  5. Finishing

    At a partner company

We outsource painting, galvanising and other coatings to specialist external companies.

  6. Installation

    At the customer’s site

We install the finished stairs and platforms at the customer’s site.

Cutting, bending and welding take place under one roof, so you do not need to coordinate multiple suppliers. Frames and larger assemblies are covered on our welded structures page.

Stair and platform design in our design office

We create the 3D model and shop drawings in Siemens NX and Solid Edge. The drawing shows not only the dimensions, but also how the gates swing open on the platform.

Steel stairs designed to fit your space

Don’t have a design? Send us the site dimensions, the height to bridge and photos. We will prepare a 3D model and shop drawings, and then manufacture the stairs or platform. Read more about how our design office works.

Manufacturing to your documentation

Have a drawing or 3D model? We will prepare a quote from it and manufacture the stairs or platform to your documentation, from a single unit to a series.

What to send for a stair or platform quote

We do not have a price list. We quote every order based on a drawing or on site dimensions and photos. The more items from this list you provide, the fewer questions we will need to ask:

  • site dimensions and height to overcome
  • intended use and expected load
  • production hall or outdoors
  • type of treads and flooring
  • guardrails and handrails
  • painting or galvanising
  • quantity and deadline
  • standard requirements from the documentation

We agree on requirements and standards before quoting

We establish dimensions, load, operating environment and standard requirements from the design documentation before giving a price. We weld at our plant certified to EN ISO 3834-2 (scope: rail vehicles and structural machine components): see our EN ISO 3834-2 certificate.

  1. Send dimensions, a sketch or a drawingSite dimensions and a sketch are enough, even a photographed freehand sketch. Drawing or 3D model: PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES.
  2. Attach photos of the siteThe machine and the location where the stairs or platform will stand. JPG, PNG, TIFF or a ZIP or 7Z archive; up to 10 files, up to 100 MB in total.
  3. We will reply with questions and a priceWe will send a quote or ask for any missing details.

Questions about steel stairs and platforms

Can you design a custom platform or stairs?

Yes. Our design office will prepare a 3D model and manufacturing documentation in Siemens NX or Solid Edge. To start, send the site dimensions and photos, and let us know what the platform will be used for.

Do you make stairs and platforms only for industry?

No. Most often we build access and process platforms around machinery, but we also manufacture steel stairs and platforms for locations outside production plants. Tell us where they will be installed and what they will be used for.

Do you perform FEA analyses?

Yes. Our design office performs FEA (finite element analysis) of steel structures, such as platforms. If you need an analysis, mention this in your enquiry.

Can you manufacture steel stairs to our documentation?

Yes. We prepare quotes based on a drawing or 3D model. We accept PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP and IGES files, photos (JPG, PNG, TIFF) as well as ZIP and 7Z archives.

Do you install stairs and platforms on site?

Yes, we install finished stairs and platforms at the customer’s site. We agree on the installation location and schedule at the quoting stage.

How do you protect stairs and platforms against corrosion?

We outsource painting, galvanising and other coatings to specialised partner companies. In your enquiry, state where the steel structure will operate (production hall, outdoors, washdown zone) and what coating the documentation requires.

What is your minimum order quantity?

From a single unit to series production. We quote each order individually.

How much do steel stairs cost?

We do not have a price list. The price depends on dimensions and load, material, type of treads and flooring, guardrails, finish, quantity and installation. Send a drawing or dimensions and we will prepare a quote.

What details and files should I send?

Site dimensions and height to overcome, intended use and expected load, photos of the site, quantity and deadline. If you have a drawing or 3D model, attach it. The form accepts up to 10 files, up to 100 MB in total.

Do you weld under a certified quality system?

We weld at our plant certified to EN ISO 3834-2 (scope: rail vehicles and structural machine components). We establish the requirements for your steel structure at the quoting stage.
