European Projects

We have implemented the project "Preparing ECAD for the implementation of a comprehensive transformation towards Industry 4.0", which significantly changed our processes. We implemented a modern MES system that allows us to precisely plan and assign tasks directly to production. This increased work efficiency and optimized resource utilization, resulting in higher productivity.

As part of the project, we applied failure prediction tools that enabled us to detect potential problems earlier, reducing downtime. Thanks to failure prediction, we shortened response times and minimized machine maintenance costs, which significantly improved our daily operations. Additionally, we implemented IIoT systems that allow us to monitor key processes in real-time, facilitating quick decision-making based on detailed data.

The next step was the introduction of a welding robot, which increased welding precision and improved the quality of our products. Thanks to welding automation, we accelerated order fulfillment and reduced errors, positively impacting customer satisfaction. These actions allowed us to reach new customers while strengthening our competitiveness.

The implementation of the project worth 1,190,640.00 PLN, of which 706,640.00 PLN came from European Funds, enabled us to modernize processes and develop in line with the idea of Industry 4.0. As a result, we improved production quality, strengthened our market position, and contributed to the development of the metal industry, proving that innovation drives our success.

The company ECAD A. WOJTCZAK, R. ZARĘBSKI SPÓŁKA KOMANDYTOWA received funding for the Project "Implementation of an automated production process for the modular welding table CUBE using innovative DSR stress relief technology" financed by the European Union under the regional program European Funds for Łódzkie 2021-2027.

The aim of the project is to implement the results of research and development work in the area of production of modular welding tables CUBE, which offer innovative solutions for the welding industry and industrial process automation. The main goal of the project is to develop technology enabling serial production of modules with high precision and dimensional stability, which is crucial in the context of geometric and quality requirements in this type of production. These modules are intended to find wide application both in welding processing and in the automation of production lines, making them versatile tools dedicated to the industrial sector. One of the key elements of the project is also the implementation of innovative DSR (Double Stress Relief) technology, which involves double stress relief of the material. This technology will provide greater dimensional stability of the modules while increasing their resistance to material fatigue, which is an important factor in their reliability.

The result of the project is:

  • Automation of production through the purchase of new machines and equipment: a stress relief and annealing furnace, a 5-axis machining center, a welding filter, and an extensive roof structure.

  • Development of CUBE module production technology aimed at creating a process enabling serial production of modules with precise dimensions and dimensional stability.

  • Development and implementation of material stress relief processes that will eliminate stresses arising during welding while ensuring appropriate quality and dimensional stability of the modules.

  • Increasing production capacity through the purchase of an annealing furnace and the implementation of an automated production line, allowing for mass production of CUBE modules and increasing plant efficiency.

The recipients of the project are companies involved in metal processing and welding structures, where precision and dimensional stability are crucial for the quality of the work performed. The second target group is companies in the modular construction industry, for which the modular design of welding tables allows for the creation of flexible, large workspaces tailored to the individual needs of users.
